Watch this space for the next LOO2LOO
13km Loo2Loo Canoe Classic

The 13km Loo2Loo Canoe Classic event from Butlers Falls to the West Dubbo Lions Park is back!

On Saturday 1 October 2016 the reborn Loo2Loo Classic raised much needed funds to improve facilities at Terramungamine reseve.  50 paddlers  enjoyed perfect spring conditions along the picturesque course down the Macquarie River and capped off a great morning of paddling with a barbecue lunch at the West Dubbo Lions Park.

With kayaks available for loan to people without their own vessel, it was a wonderful opportunity for several newcomers to  have their first experience of paddling along the  Macquarie River including the chance to learn how to safely negotiate the weir south of the city.

Proceeds of the day raised funds for improved river access for Kayakers at Terramungamine Reserve.

The event proved so popular that organisers have declared it will once again be run as an annual event.
