Q When is the 2025 WomDomNom?
A Thursday 27th November 2025 to Sunday 30th November 2025.

Q Is there an option Burrendong Dam to Wellington paddle?
A Yes, Wednesday 26th November 2025. The cost of this is about $25.

Q Where does the WomDomNom start?
A Oxley Park, at the "Duke of Wellington" Bridge (low level bridge) in Wellington, on Herbert St.

Q How does the car shuffle work?
A You drive your car to Narromine Airport and make sure you are there by 7am (it is just over an hour's drive so you need to leave Wellington by 6am). You lock your car board the  pre booked coach, which will drop you back to Wellington by 8.15am.

Q What time do we start paddling?
A Day one is a long paddle. We need to be on the water by 9.30am. The paddle is 38km, so we may not be finished until 5pm.

Q What compulsory equipment do i need at scrutineering?
A     A  Kayak with:
oBuoyancy (floatation or sealed compartments) in bow and stern
o Carry handles at each end
  • Lifejacket/PFD (one per occupant, type 2 or 3, or level 50 or 50s) in good condition, and which are a good fit
  • Paddle
  • Hard soled paddle booties or runners
  • Whistle  (pealess) attached to pfd
  • Sponge
  • Tow rope attached to front of Kayak
  • Water (at least 2 litres per paddler)
  • Food (snacks for along the way – these are provided, so pick some up)
  • Brimmed hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Personal first aid kit
  • Your own medications (if required)
  • Tissues/toilet paper
  • Ziplock bags (for used toilet paper and other rubbish)
  • Rain jacket if rain is forecast
  • Personal Medication as required , Epi pens etc suitably stored
A scrutineering  sticker will be attached to your craft, indicating you have produced the correct basic equipment for the journey.
